Reliable for filament stock-up

I've bought filament from Atome3D several times now. My last order was for a mix of Filament PETG and Filament ABS. It's always a consistent experience. The delivery times are usually spot on with their estimates. I've found their in-house brand filaments to be reliable for my Elegoo Mars, and the prices are competitive, especially when I buy a few spools at once. They're my go-to for consumables now.

Good deal on a Bambu Lab P1S

I was looking to upgrade my printer and saw they had the Bambu Lab P1S on a pretty good sale during their summer event. I compared prices with a few other places and this was definitely the best value I found. The shipping wasn't free, but the discount on the printer itself made up for it. Felt like a solid purchase overall.

Smooth order, good quality PLA

I ordered a few spools of Filament PLA. The website was easy to navigate, and checkout was straightforward. I received a confirmation email quickly. It arrived two days earlier than the tracking said, which was nice. Packaging was secure, no damage to the spools. The filament itself printed well on my Ender 3, consistent diameter and adhesion. No issues with stringing or clogs after about 20 hours of printing. I haven't needed support, so I can't speak to that experience, but everything else worked fine.

Anyone know how long shipping usually takes for a 3D printer to, say, Paris? Need it kinda quick for a project.

E Elena A. 2 months ago
I'm in Lyon, got my filament order in like 3 days. For a printer, I'd probably expect 3-5 business days max within France, but that's just my guess.

Ordered an Ender 3 a while back, it showed up in Bordeaux in about 4 days. If you order early in the week, you should be fine.

Just wondering if any of the promo codes floating around, like for first purchase or whatever, stack with the current summer sale stuff? Looking at a filament bundle that's already discounted.

A Alex 2 months ago
Usually, no. Most places, including them I think, don't let you stack codes on top of sale prices unless it explicitly says so. Tried it during Black Friday, didn't work for me.

Yeah, pretty sure the rule is one discount at a time. The system just picks the best one or ignores the second code.

Hey, thinking of getting a Bambu Lab X1-Carbon from here. Are they legit Bambu resellers or some gray market thing? Don't want to get stuck without warranty.

M Mike 2 months ago
Yeah, they're an official reseller. I got my P1S from them last year and registered it with Bambu Lab no problem.

Can confirm, they're listed on the official Bambu site as a distributor in France. You're good.

Is Atome3D better than Makershop for filaments? I usually buy from Makershop but Atome3D has some good deals on PLA right now.

N Nick D. 2 months ago
I've bought from both. Atome3D has a solid selection and their prices on spools during sales are usually really competitive. Quality is good for generic stuff.

For basic PLA, they're pretty comparable. I'd just go with whoever has the better deal or color in stock at the moment. Never had an issue with either.
